This is an international training qualification and is offered through the Academy of Inner Wisdom, the education platform of the SolePath Institute in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and endorsed by the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM), in British Columbia, Canada.

As we have moved away from traditional establishments in our secular communities, there has remained a deep yearning for comfort, community and support. For care and assistance from someone who fulfils the role of mentor, celebrant and trusted advisor. Spiritual Practitioners are community-minded, a key part of those important celebrations of life, and provide guidance in their community.
Our Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner qualification was born out of a deep need for training that combines the spiritual and practical aspects of the passages of life. As metaphysical clergy, you will dedicate your life to contributing to the joy in the lives of others, outside of the confines of doctrine. There are no pre-requisites for this course, except a deep desire to be of service and a personal belief that you are ‘more than your physical body’.
We are very proud of the fact that our teachings and courses do not conflict with any traditional religious nor spiritual beliefs, but rather enhance all personal belief systems. What Qualifications Will I Receive?
WEDDINGS
You will be fully qualified to officiate weddings anywhere in the world. Additionally, in the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, you will be government registered and authorized to officiate wedding ceremonies in your home Province.
CIMM obtains registration through the department of Vital Statistics with the provincial government, for you to be authorized to perform weddings. For authorization, outside of these geographic areas, you will need to make application to your local governing authority.
SPIRITUAL SUPPORT
Volunteer opportunities in your own community may include spiritual support in the following settings: health care, hospitals and hospice; penitentiary and prison services; women’s, seniors and youth support services. Students will be encouraged to research local opportunities.
FUNERALS / END OF LIFE CEREMONIES
All students will be qualified to officiate end-of-life ceremonies.
No additional official government registration is required to do this.
COMMISSIONER for OATHS
In most jurisdictions, your clergy qualification allows you to register to study to become a Commissioner of Oaths.
The Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner program is a self-paced program with 2 mandatory ceremony workshops. Multiple workshop dates are offered to fit in with your robust schedule.
The workshop schedule is “a la carte” to meet your program completion, graduation and personal needs.
The program is ongoing, you may start immediately. It is possible to complete the CSP program in as little as 3-4 months or you may take up to one year from your registration date to finish the program.

Dr. Debra’s SolePath is Inspirational Teacher and Spiritual Mystic. It is this SolePath that allows her to connect, create and communicate the original SolePath body of work, and her unique teachings about the Tao. Her core values and core energy are spirituality and connection, inspiration and communication.
Dr. Debra is the course creator for the programs at the Academy of Inner Wisdom, including the Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner training, and SolePath Metaphysical Philosopher training.
Dr. Debra is one of the world’s foremost experts in metaphysical energy. She has a doctorate in metaphysical science and is a metaphysical philosophy teacher. Dr. Debra is an ordained minister and a member of the American Metaphysical Doctors Association and a Board member of the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry. Dr. Debra is the author of many spiritual books, and children’s books, and is a popular meditation teacher on the Insight Timer meditation app, with over 150,000 listens to her comforting and insightful meditations.

Rev. Cathy’s SolePath is Inspirational Teacher and Spiritual Mystic. Her core values and core energy are spirituality and connection, inspiration and communication.
Rev. Cathy Yost is the co-instructor and co-creator for Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner qualification.
Reverend Cathy Yost is a SolePath certified technician, a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant™ trained with the Celebrant Foundation and Institute in New Jersey, and a Funeral Celebrant trained with the Certified Celebrants Association of Canada (CCAOC). She is an ordained metaphysical minister through CIMM.
Cathy officiates up to 100 ceremonies each year, including weddings and funerals.
Cathy’s journalism education launched her into writing, producing and production coordinating for television, radio and film. As a Professional Business and Life Coach she took her training in Australia with Coach University and was a member of the International Coach Federation for over a decade.

Janice’s SolePath is Spiritual Warrior and Intellectual Lateral Thinker. Her core values are her passion for life and her amazing problem-solving gifts. She is a wellness visionary who is deeply fulfilled by helping people see the true brilliance of who they are and discovering the many aspects of the self that contribute to their well-being.
Janice is a co-instructor and co-creator for Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner qualification; and program advisor for the SolePath Foundations program.
Rev. Janice is a SolePath certified master mentor and educator. She is an avid writer and explorer of life, who teaches understandings of metaphysical concepts and mastery of self through the SolePath Institute. She is an ordained metaphysical minister through CIMM.
It’s been over 25 years since Janice took her first step into a classroom as a post-secondary educator. Her special gift is communicating new and foreign concepts to individuals in a way they can understand. From a little rural classroom, teaching computer skills to trappers in the north, to the beautiful study of Chinese medicine in the city of Calgary, where she went on to hold the position of dean of academics, Janice thrives on sharing ideas and concepts.

Everyone is born with a SolePath. It is your unique individual energetic personality profile. ‘Sole’ because it is solely about you. ‘Path’ because it guides you on your life journey. SolePath is energetic personality profiling giving the gift of deep self-awareness.

This qualification is a journey of self-awareness, a deep understanding of your own personal unique SolePath, LightPaths, DarkPath, and Governing SoleNumber.

The Daily Pulse is a daily spiritual practice that brings ritual to life, a precious ordinary experience that reawakens you to the beauty of a single moment.
A daily ritual that is a guided process of self-awareness and a way to get connected to Higher Self and Source Energy to receive inspiration and guidance.
The Daily Pulse puts you in sync with the Tao, the heartbeat of nature. The Tao is the essential rhythm of nature, the fundamental pulse of our world.
The Daily Pulse reminds you that personal change happens in small steady steps each day. That transformation of how you feel, happens in the gift of time spent alone, in the ritual of an inner process.
Outline
The Daily Pulse is a daily ritual; small steps towards life transformation and happiness. These teachings are a combination of meditation and journaling and are based on Dr. Debra’s book Daily Pulse, rhythm of the Tao.
This Daily Pulse course is experiential and transformational. Each video lesson includes a guided meditation on the trigram of the Tao; a reading by Dr. Debra from her book; as well as journaling exercises. Each daily spiritual ritual includes an Intention, Breath Prayer and Affirmation.
The benefits of meditation are very well researched. Meditation reduces stress and helps control anxiety. Meditation promotes emotional health and enhances self-awareness. In our uncertain world, meditation seems as vital as breathing.
The benefits of journaling may not be so readily known. Journaling engages the left, creative or emotional side of the brain. Because of this, it soothes emotional unease and helps with all negative feelings.
Meditation and journaling are a spiritual practice during which you can connect with your higher self, your angels, your guides, your God. A way to receive inspiration and wisdom.
The Daily Pulse is the ritual of doing something uplifting and positive for yourself every day.

You will understand the role of a spiritual celebrant and provide support in your community. You will learn to provide moral spiritual support using a person-centered approach.

Qualifying to be a Celebrant and Spiritual Practitioner gives you the opportunity to have a profound effect on yourself and on the lives of others. Spiritual support and ceremonies that go from birth to end-of-life, affect emotional and mental well-being. You will be a witness to life, a guide and advisor.
Outline
This course will teach you how to build an energetic business framework using the perfect balance of the Tao. You will learn about weddings and funerals that are uniquely designed for each person and each situation and include the perfection of the Tao. Opportunities for spiritual care will be discussed, giving students the inspiration for discovering prospects in their own communities. Areas of exploration include health care, hospice, seniors care, schools, corrections, and education.
Through the lens of the Tao you will be given the opportunity to work on all parts of your spiritual growth: study and personal image; confidence and self-esteem; expression and ideas; creating nourishing relationships and order; support and perspective; purpose; learning and wisdom; money and good fortune; balance.

There are two mandatory live virtual workshops for this section of program study.
Workshops are scheduled multiple times throughout the year.
CSP students must participate in one Tao and Wedding Ceremony workshop and one Tao Funeral and End-of-Life Workshop.
